Tokyo, Kyoto, and Nara
The evening I arrived in Tokyo I took the train to Shibuya Station to see Shibuya crossing, the world’s busiest intersection. The next morning I explored the the Tokyo tower and Zōjō-ji (a buddist temple built in 1393). The same day, I took the Tokaido Shinkansen line from Tokyo station to Kyoto Station. After a few hours in Kyoto exploring Arashiyama, I took the 40 minute train ride from Kyoto Station to Nara Station to see the temples and deer. Then all the way back to Tokyo. Good day.
Miyagi Zao Fox Village
The next day I made the trip out to the Miyagi Zao Fox Village.
I missed the Fushimi Inari Shrine when I went to Kyoto on my first day, so I made a trip back there. The shrine is famous for its thousands of vermilion torii gates that go up Mt. Inari. I also ended up going to Nara to see the deer again.
Spent my fourth day in Japan around Tokyo. Met up with two local photographers in the evening to shoot around Shibuya and Roppongi.
